Went to the Seattle boat show today and was amazed at all the new sailboats. Had me thinking that MY boat was once THAT boat....in 1985. Would love to see pictures of it! or sales literature with it

Its a long shot but does anyone have similar stuff?

Just curious, where do they do the Seattle boat show now? I can remember when they used to hold it in the King Dome. I still remember that tune - The BOAT show the BOAT show the GREAT SEATTLE BOAT show...

That and Ski Bonkers were the two defining events of the year.

Its held in two locations these days. In the century link convention center (about same size as Kingdome used to be ) and at the south end of lake union for all the really big boats. Probably 100 boats there with about 30 sailboats i could only dream of owning. Its great to see how things are mounted and stored.

Yup, those ad campaigns were pretty catchy!

this years campaign is "boat 2012" with a presidential election overtone.
