There are plenty of places to buy used sails, but if want to buy one or more, have them inspected by a sailmaker first. When I was in the Caribbean I found the perfect replacement main in Texas. Paid a sailmaker to take a look. On inspection with the sail laid out fully, he reported the sail to be in very poor shape, even though the seller stated it was in very good shape. Saved me thousands and I spent just few hundred.

Often the report is based on the perspective of the observer.... Sellers generally view the item for sale through Rose Colored Glasses.

I've had really good luck with Bacon Sails out of Annapolis. For the main, you need the "E" and "P" value and for the jib you need the "I" and the "J" value. Then you can shop for used sails that did not necessarily come off of a Catalina 22. According to sailboatdata.com your dimentions are

For the J-value, anything over is listed as a percentage. For example, your J-value is 8 feet. A jib (or Genoa) that extened past the mast by 0.8' would be considered a 110 jib (i.e. 10% past the J-value)

Here is a diagram I captured off of "sailboatdata.com"

I have an old sail that is fairly good condition. it's 224" (18'6")P. x 133" (11')E. I would be willing to part with. I don't know the specs on the Cat 22 but if he can use it let me know. I athink the name on that sail was Manchester Sails.
