Sails for sail.

With much regret I have decided that in the near future 'Alkira' is to be sold . The reasons for this decision are another story but it does also mean that I have several Vega specific items to dispose of.
The first of these are a mainsail (unknown make) and roller reefing Genoa (by TAB). I don't know how old either of these items is but can say that they have seen little use in the recent past as I replaced them after two seasons and the previous owner never sail the boat.
The Genoa is far superior in terms of overall condition. It is reasonably clean and all the stitching appears good. In addition there is no indication of fraying / chafing of the sailcloth itself or stretch at head, clew or tack. At some stage it has had a replacement (blue) U/V protection strip fitted and I would suggest if treated to a professional wash would be totally presentable.
In some contrast the main has an essentially well used (but not worn) appearance. I can't make out who the maker was as his trademark has nearly disappeared. In my (admittedly limited) experience however, it does appear sturdily made and currently it's constructional integrity is similar to the Genoa.
I have absolutely no idea what these items are worth (assuming they have a value) so should anybody be interested drop me an e-mail to frank@... with an offer for one or both.

Regards to all,
Frank Fowler, Alkira of Mersea, Liverpool. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Gianni,

It looks like the shipping costs will be about two or two and a half times
what I am asking for the sail and therefore the deal doesn't look viable.
Sorry, Frank.
