Sailors clean up nicely.

WYC held our annual awards banquet last weekend, so Jo and I got dressed up and headed out.

The whole crew showed up and we took up a whole table. Had a great time. We sailed in 32 races, 15 podiums, 9 wins and 5 trophy’s including 3 series wins. Some one made a video of all the hardware before the event, pretty cool.

The same. For sure don’t care too much what we look like when racing. I usually look like the old man and the sea, and while Jo is Jo, she just pulls her hair back into a pony and off we go.

But when she wants to dazzle however, watch out!

Reminds me of when I joined my sailing club and they were just having their Holiday Dance at the Naval Academy officers club. I was advised I should have a tux, as the dress was "dress to the nines". The tenth, of course, was "boating shoes".
