The Anderson Adventures

The blog entries ends 6 days before the MOB. What an awful outcome. Sounds like they got rolled. A near-constant nor'easter has churned off the east coast for the last month.

Another amazing AMVER rescue. Rob Anderson was plucked off his IP 38 less than 3.5 hours after lighting up his EPIRB, by M/V High Jupiter. How unspeakably sad it must have been to leave their vessel. The USCG has suspended the search for Jan Anderson.

[Bad Obsession]

One of the members from here was out during that time and I just spoke with him about his trip (Java Jim as many of us know him by). The weather that they encountered was absolutely horrible. His story from it was interesting because he wasn't too far from where the person was lost.

This is a sad story.
