I can help you if you're referring to the one on the East River of Mobjack Bay, Virginia, but I imagine there are a hundred Put-In-Bays around America. Where do you want to put in?
You had better get there early for a slip or mooring ball. There are a large number of launch ramps within nice sail of the bay. From Sandusky to Port Clinton, you can ask and most people can direct you. There are State run ones at Marblehead or Danbury Twp., East Harbor State Park, Catawba Island (not an island) and many more. I reccomend arriving at the bay by mid afternoon Friday and picking up a mooring ball unless you have other reservations.
if you want a little longer sail. If you want the shortest possible run, then as Gene said Marblehead or Danbury Twp., East Harbor State Park, and Catawba Island are closest. We really like riding a mooring ball in Put-in-Bay, and there are good marinas on Kelly Island, too.DavidLAdy Lillie
I put my H240 out of Catawba Island State Park a couple years ago. Free parking, but have to watch mast when backing down to ramp. You better get there early to get a mooring buoy at Put-In-Bay. Rafting at the docks are for the party crowd.
