Hi all, I am new to this forum and sailing. Can anyone recommend a good sailing school in Southern California? I would like to be certified in 101 & 103. Thanks. Chris

Orange Coast College School of Seamanship

The OCC school in Newport Beach has a great reputation and large fleet of boats. I would seriously recommend it for your needs. John Richard s/v Jack's Place

San Diego schools....

... Mission Bay Aquatic center.... affiliated with San Diego State and UCSD. Sabots, lasers, Holder 14, Hobie 16, and J 24. A very complete program. ... J-World Located on shelter island in San Diego Harbor. The top rated school in America. They offer many levels of racing and cruising instruction. They have a fleet of nifty J-80's... Not sure what the cruising classes train on. Very highly recommeded.
