Ok, where do I get the shirt??? I hope it comes in other colors other than black. Without a Bimini top to hide under, black could awfully hot on a sunny sail.

Bummer. Sometimes those things happen. In most cases I've read about, the "final solution" is to bite the bullet. In the old days, you had to buy a whole new head. These days, the friendly folks on the store on this website will most likely be glad to help you and just buy the one part or few parts to get you going again. With plastic it is hard to fix those kinds of cracks.

I'll be ordering a new "base" and gaskets tomorrow. I'll replace the joker valve at the same time. Its a lousy job but I'd rather do it myself and avoid any future unpleasantness. Ahhhh the joys of boat ownership.
