Hey All,

Taking the Mac 26D down to Mississippi June 20-24 and maybe a little earlier. Would love to meet up with some other trailer sailers. Or, if you have Mac 26C,D,S experience I'd love to host you for a day so you could help me learn more about sailing this ole boat.

Mine is very spartan. Trying to spend more time sailing it than working on it. If a mod is not safety related its on the list right under "go sailing."

Making the final prep. I hope someone will join me. It's going to be a great time.

I absolutely wouldn't recommend sailing on this lake. Especially if you like wide open inland waters, few other boaters, great wind, lots of coves to tuck into, etc. Don't stay at Sardis Lake Marina unless you want good help without asking, politeness, southern manners, and a general service mindset. And for sure don't eat at Southern Voodoo. It's Cajun flair that is spiced to taste good not burn your mouth off and great service at a reasonable price.

5 hours of sailing in the chart below and I only made it about a third of the way down the lake.

I'm not going back, until I get the next chance.

I love using Navionics on my iPhone iPad to do just what you did. Sounds like a great trip!
