Sailing on Lake Cachuma, CA???

Who has sailed on Lake Cachuma, Ca?
I have a MacGregor 26D and I know that I have to go there Clean and dry for the inspection. I am just interested in finding someone that has been there with their sailboat. I sail on Pyramid Lake all the time and they do not have a mussle problem.

The only two places I sailed in my youth were outer Los Angeles Harbor, aka Hurricane Gulch and Lake Cachuma. Any info I might provide would be a little dated though. Last time I was there was 1969!

Many fond memories and excellent afternoon sailing.

Any boat over 24ft has a mandatory 14 day quarantine period. The requirements, restrictions, etc. are on their website.

Bummer. So I would have to take it there, have it checked out and then leave it (don't want to haul it back and forth) in storage for the 14 days. The lake is only 2.5 hours away.

Bob, You're less than 2 1/2 hrs from MDR. The weather should be great this coming week.
