sailing in Biscayne Bay ??

me and my SO will be in Miami over the long Easter weekend. She wants to lay on the beach for 4 days and I'd like to get out and sail. Does anyone know of any marina/yacht clubs in the South Beach/Miami area that has sailboat rentals (day charters) or club racing that may be looking for crew?? Thanks, DaCapo

Sailboats of Key Biscayne

It has been a couple years since I rented from Sailboats of Key Biscayne but I have rented from them a few times over the years when visiting Miami. They have different boats available for pretty reasonable rates. I used to take out pretty stripped down Catalina 25. The boats aren't pretty but it they may satisfy your sailing jones. It takes a while to motor out through the channel so plan on plenty of time. Also, watch out for the buoys out in the bay.
