Finally we had a day with water in Alton Lake (last navigation pool on the upper Mississippi), wind for our sails, and no other commitments! Sure, it was almost 100 degrees, but the bimini was up and we had a breeze! Definitely needed today to remind me why I have the boat, but hopefully we'll have decent weather for late summer and fall. Heck, we even saw 7 knots on the knotmeter (briefly). It probably needs to be recalibrated, but it looked nice. Yup, the Hunter 26 is one fine sailing boat!
