Several years ago I purchased an 8 meter S 2 with saildrive motor. I would like to find anyone with engine parts ( gear dog is needed) If anyone has an idea about finding parts please inform me.

If it is the OMC unit they got bought by Bombardier.

The gear dog may be a shared part with a Johnson / Evinrude outboard. A good Johnson / Evinrude mechanic can probably help you out.
