Has anyone used SailCare to clean and refurbish your sails? The mainsail on my Legend 37 is in good condition and has excellent sail shape. There are some stains from the Dutchman system that don't come out with cleaning from my sail loft. I've done away with the Dutchman and would like the sail to be white again. Because they replace resins in the sail, I understand that SailCare can remove stains that conventional cleaning can not. How long ago were your sails done by SailCare and how would you rate the results. Thanks for any information. Bob

I used Sail Care

Two years ago I used Sail Care to refurbish the original jib for our 1975 Hunter 30. I was impressed! They put the life back into the sail. It came back with a nice crisp feel. They did not get out every stain, in the 23 year old sail, but they got the majority of them, it look better than our 5 year old main.

Clean Sail

They do good work - I have used them several times. Only one problem I had was they shrunk my mainsail but they reprocessed it and had it back to me within the week.

We had the main and jib done by Sail Care. We can't say enough about their good work and their prices. The main came back so good, we had trouble getting it into the sail bag. It was blindingly white. They also made some minor repairs. In addition to cleaning the jib (110), they sewed on a UV leach stripe - total price cleaning and stripe was about $400. We'd go to them first again.

Great Service

Several Years ago I had a 1974 main from a Venture 21 reconditioned. It camr back looking almost new. They also add a second reef and did some minor repairs. The price was less than 1/3 of a new main. Great service and prices - go for it.
