About six months or so go, a fellow Hunter owner submitted a thread about sailboat struts.
Seems his son was in the business of casting these items for Hunters.

Does anyone have the web address for the strut contractor.
Canu use it as I need a new strut for a Hunter Legend 35 with a 1" prop shaft

I don't remember exactly what you are referring to, but Southeastern Foundries Corp is the place that was last referrenced. Dahmer was also making them, but I believe they are no longer in business.

Broad Reach.. I bought one for my 34 a couple of years ago from :
Southeastern Foundries Corp, 2706 Oakland Ave, Greensborough, NC. 27403, Strut #1503, 31-34-37’ (1X1.25) HM 316700. Phone 336-299-7211 ($218 in 8/08)
Give them a call to see if they have yours. The strut came with the cutless bearing installed. They were a pleasure to deal with.
