Anyone having trouble getting insurance in FL? I was just dropped by Seahorse Underwrighters. I was quoted by Boat US $1,800 per year for $25,000 hull, 5000,000 lia. Seems high.

I just got progressive up here in new york and they progressive told me that florida is a very big percntage of their business. My homer owner insurance agent in florida also told me she would get progressive for my boat when I move down. She didn't quot me a price yet.???????

Was with the St.Paul thru the Power Sqd, they stopped writed coverage for named storms. Am now with Boats US, paying $1700 for 50k hull coverage, 300K liability.
