Sail Wintering

I have had bad luck with weather to remove the main sail for the season. ( in mast ferling, the jib has been done) She is resting dry for the winter. The sail was serviced last year. How important is it to remove the sail for the season. Hunter 410. Thanks for your reply.

Up north ... probably won't do much harm...

... but down here during the summer you probably would get spotting from molds unless you were using it during the summer.Vic "Seven"
