Hank on jibs can be converted to roller furling. Any good sail loft should be able to do this for you. Ideally, you'd want them to add reinforcing patches on the foot and leech, corresponding to common reef points (ie. for a 135%, you'd want reinforcement at about 110%, and maybe down to 90% for a storm sail.) Otherwise, it will prematurely stretch your sail. As for Sunbrella leech strips, your common sailing conditions should dictate. I often sail in lighter winds, and I'd rather not have the extra weight on the leech of the sail, potentially preventing it drawing. (Heck, for those conditions, I'd do well to have a light weight drifter, hah!) Therefore, I'd consider a jib sock over Sunbrella leech strips. A good sock would have criss-crossing bungee to help prevent oscillation in the wind... If you do go with Sunbrella strips, don't use white. I have seen pictures documenting that white Sunbrella gives terrible UV resistance compared to colored Sunbrella.
Once you get a quote for all these mods to your existing sail, you should weigh the age and condition of the sail - you may find you're better off just ordering a new sail built to your specs. Depends on how old, worn, and stretched your existing sail is...
