Any good books for basic sail trim? I would like to read about how to get the best preformance and need guidance.

On this site. This month's host is a sail trim author, and his new book the Sail Trim Users guide, is excellent. It's the first trim guide I've actually been able to understand! Of course, I may be biased in this opinion, so see what others say, too.

If you check the guest forum, the gentleman who wrote the Sail Trim Charts is moderating that forum. If you don't have the sail trim charts, get them (look in the chandlery), they are a great investment. There is a new book with more info on using the sail charts that I have on order and can't wait to get my hands on to read. Look in the store, both are available and if the book increases my ability to set and read the sails half as much as the charts, it's a great deal. Regards. Bruce Neon Moon
