Topping Lift

There is only one rare instance when the topping lift would be used and that is in very light area and it would be applied only slightly. All other times it is not applied at all. The topping lift is only used to support the boom when the sail is flacked. Aditionally, since I had a rigid vang I removed the topping lift completely. I hated that thing flopping against the sail - it messed up my carma!!!

I am eager to fix this problem, but due to due to light winds (Long Island Sound), I cannot provide the promissed pictures.
