sail to santa catalina

My wife and I would like to spend 4-5 days sailing from the L.A. area to Santa Catalina Island. We would consider a charter or a trade (for sailing the Strait of Georgia and Desolation Sound in our boat). We will be in L.A. March 12th to the 19th, 2005. We are both experienced sailors and both have our Skippers desigination with the ISPA. We both have over 250 days on the water in our log book in the past 5 years.

Our 33.5 is part of the Eurosail fleet in San Pedro (the closest marina to Catalina). Look me up in the Owners Directory (last name Rynd) and send me an email. A picture of the boat is there too. I can supply with all the information you want on the boat. We sail to Catalina often. A great place with a host of activities, calm seas and usually good wind. There are lots of moorings and anchorages with crystal clear water although in March water temps will only be about 60. Love to hear from you.
