Someone else posted this web site a while back and I checked it out and sent it to my friends. One of the guys made one for his Mac 26 and he said that it worked great. My old Davis Sail Jock is no longer being made, and last year one of the plastic hooks on it broke. So I'll probably make one of these sail jocks this year to replace my old Davis Sail Jock. The good thing about this set-up is, your sail ties are always under the boom ready to use when you furl your sail, and the hooks aren't hanging low and catching on to anything as your boom is swinging. the system works great!!!!

I have been using the same sys on my O'Day 30 for about 18 years. another plus is that its so easy to refurb or fix. just go buy about 16ft of new shock cord. i've found though that the colored cord does'nt last very long. buy the white. S/V Que Pasa?

Thank you capn jim for the pointers on this furling system. I haven't tried it yet but I intend to make one this spring for my boat. I sent this site to my friends last year, and my friend Walter built one for his Mac 26 and told me that it worked great, and he was pleased with it. We lost Walter last week of Esophageal Cancer. He was one of my favorite boating buddies, and I'm happy that I was able to share my interests with him. Joe
