Sail Orlando area???

I will be in Orlando on business during the last of February and the first of March. Is there anyone in the area that may not mind an extra hand for a sail somewhere in the area. I am getting back into sailing after a few years off and take every opportunity I can to learn more about the sport.Thanks for the help and great sailing to all........~~~~~~~__/)~~~~~~~~

One idea.

We were in Orlando in November and sailed out of Dunedin(north of Clearwater) with Pete Burger. About a two hour drive but worth it to sail on his H430. Very reasonably priced. See his web-site:http://www.geocities.com/sailburg2/index.html

A couple of suggestions for you: I used to live in Orlando. Contact the Orlando Chapter of the Red Cross; they have a sailing club (I used to belong) and find out who is currently president. Call him/her. Also, go to Lake Monroe in Sanford (just North of Orlando); sailors at the marina usually will take on crew. Kennedy Point Yacht Club in Titusville is another good source. Ask for Rick on the boat "Sleeek" - he's a hard core racer!  Fair Winds, Bruce
