Sail Loft recommendation

For some reason my post of the 25th didn't get mailed to the group - oh well,
I'll try again. I bought a new mainsail this winter from Doyle B.C. (Peter
Jacobson in Nanoose Bay on Vancouver Island). The sail is great, service was
great, and the price of just over $1000 was good (winter pricing). Peter has
experience with Vegas and was extremely helpful and tolerant of my dumb
questions. I went with 6.46 oz dacron, 2 full upper battens, 2 reefs, and a
shelf foot (bolt rope).

I don't have any business relationship with Doyle, just felt it appropriate
to recommend someone who gives good customer service.

I too bought a new main from Doyle, at the City Island, New York loft, and
the service was exellent as well. Price was similar and I am very pleased
with the result. I'm currently having them make a 135 furling Genoa.

Does anyone know if it is easy to put a new sail on a roller furling? I have
never replaced one and we are looking to get a new 135 Genoa.

Thanks Hans, Hope to be getting a new one later this year. Now I know what
to look for as far as pricing goes. Walt Lyric #120
