I made a sailcover for my 1994 26S from "Sunbrella" and I have a good "full size" pattern. If you would like to make a sailcover for your 26S, reply and the pattern is yours.
Someone told me that black covers absorb so much heat that wasps and other insects will not make nests under the cover. I have to admit that I have not had any trouble with mud nests on my mainsail. My bimini is a maroon and I always find spiders inside.
I will create a list of those who have included their E-mail address. I will request a mailing address of the first person on the list. I will send the original pattern to the first person on the e-mail list. The first person I send the original pattern to should make a copy of the pattern and send the original pattern to the next person on the list.To make a copy of the pattern you will need approximately 14 feet of 36" wide white paper. Does anyone have a problem with this method of sharing?
I watched the clssified ads in the local newspaper and shopper and found a good used H.D. Juki sewing machine for $200. Based on the estimate I received to have someone sew new cushion covers, I have paid for the machine at least 3 times already.
Hi,I would love a copy of the pattern but wonder if it will fit a Macgregor 26D? Does anyone happen to know the answer to this. I guess I should check boom lengths between the two versions???thanks,Lori
Those who would like to copy the patterns I have, E-Mail your U.S. Mail address to Escritar@Yahoo.com if your E-mail address was not included in your reply.
