I JUST RECIEVED MY 2005 "BOATERS WORLD" CATALOG. IT IS TAYLORED MORE TOWARDS POWER BOATS/ FISHING ETC... IS THERE A "SAIL BOATERS" CATALOG OUT THERE SOME WHERE ??THANKS EVERYONE....KEN

Defender is by far the cheapest. Also, they put a note in the corner of many pages saying that some manufacturers require that they list certain items at prices no lower than a MAP (Minimum Advertised Price)...but that is not necessarily the selling price. I have been pleasantly surprised on several occasions when the price charged is lower than in the catalog.

Let me defend BW

I am in the middle of frantically planning my first haulout of a Cat 27, and have been searching back and forth through many catalogs. I was pleasently surprised at the BW catalog, since I have been to their Long Beach, CA store and was really underwhelmed. For anyone buying West System epoxy they have a great deal for the next couple of weeks, they match the prices of Hamilton Marine on Groco Thruhulls and Sea Cocks (best prices I could find) and have a lot of nice pictures of galley,cushions, etc, that the mate (he or she) will like. Besides, you Yankees haven't launched yet, so what else do you have to do but look at wish books ;D Standard disclainer: I don't own any stock, etc, etc..

Jim, Orange Engine Parts is best place for

impellors, hoses, filters etc. it's right up Del Obispo (sp?) next to 7-11 near Albertson's. It's where WM will direct you if they don't carry it. Thought I'd mention it.
