I wouldn't depend on a spec length
BartYou should pull the sail off, lay it out flat, inspect each batten and pocket, get some batten material that's slightly longer than the pocket and cut it to fit the empty pocket. Tape up the ends of each one when you're done washing the sail with a mild sail cleaning solution and letting it dry out well. Seems like there's always a few spots that need a stitch or two anyway. Good sail maintenance will inevitably keep those rascals in place and ease your day too.Good luck, Michael
