Hello, Do you wear a safety harness? If so, to where do you secure it? I saw a note in the C22 tech manual (Chapter 14 - Tips) which says to mount a padeye under the companionway, but I can't think of where that would be. Thanks.

Padeye location....
The companionway is the "door" between the cockpit and the cabin. Mount it on the floor or the small bulkhead area below the companionway threshold. This location would allow a six foot tether to give you access to the entire cockpit and to easily clip on and off as you leave or enter the cabin. If you put it on the floor you might consider a folding padeye.

Below Entryway
Tim: Mine attaches to a ring in the cockpit area below the entryway to the cabin. It has an oak (1 x 4 x 6 in.) backing added beneath the washer and nut of the eye ring to add strength as the fiberglass there isn't real thick. RK
