A while back a skipper needed pix close-up of an in-place rudder. Looking throughold shots I find a few up-close details of rudder, skeg, "notches", etc. They could be reproduced and sent. For that matter, I have two dozen or more pix from haul outs for bottom painting, original launch, etc. that show underwater lines & detail well. However, I suspectthat's fairly common in the Sxx world. I don't fully know how the lines on my S25 compare to other Sxx.x lines, although I was assuming similarities. Also, does anyone have wood parts for an S25 tiller? Esp the spacer blox at the base of the tiller? Don't need metal parts. My spacers have shrunk with yearsand the screw holes are shot as well. In short, a lot of slop in the tiller. Nylongspacers and larger screws fix didn't last.If necessary I can make a pattern and make new spacers, but readily available spacerswould take less time for now, and replacements could be made at more leisure. Probablyothers have made these; suggestions on wood and finish?A spare tiller could be nice, if someone has one they want to part with--viz., thelong skinny laminated piece of the tiller, as opposed to the spacers. The S25 thatsold up in NE got away before I could get anything, and the boatyard said the helmwas one of the first things to go.Thanks much,Doug LaVerneS25 #33 "Aisling" 1978Concord Yacht Club, TNSeidelmanns _are_ fast; while we fought it out for last place in Rocky Top Regatta lastspring due to crew inexperienced with each other plus technical glitches, but cameback to challenge first and finish well ahead of third in CYC Club Championship in the fall. Having a CT Yankee as crew chief didn't hurt.
