S2 9.2A on ebay

There is an 9.2A from Falmouth MA on ebay right now called 2nd Fiddle. It is the boat I looked at two years ago that was (and likely is, as it hasn't been painted) absolutely covered in gel coat blisters. It looks like a rash and covers ~70% of the boat from what I recall. That information has not yet been disclosed on the listing.

Bob, I think I just saw this boat at the Mass maritime auction. I put in a bid on it and I was the high bidder. I read this post after the fact. Can you give me any other info on this. It did not notice any blisters, but it was not in the water when I viewed it. Im trying to decide if I should back out, I would lose my deposit, but it might be worth it if the blistering is as bad as you say.

I was happy you saw my post and happier to here that 2nd Fiddle found a home at a fair price. The blisters I saw are cosmetic, not structural as we discussed via email and I hope you get lots of enjoyment out of your new boat. I really was just trying to prevent someone from overpaying for her because of a lack of information. Whoever listed the ad on ebay failed to disclose the issue even after I called them out about it.
