s2 6.9 vs cat 22

Need a little help. I am looking at buying a boat and have narrowed it down to either the s2 6.9 or the cat 22. I don't know a lot about the 6.9 but have liked the pictures i've seen of them. There are a lot of peolpe here that sail the cat 22. Haven't seen any 6.9's up close.
How do these two boats compare?
I can buy the same year of either for the same money.

The Catalina 22 is one of the most venerable trailerable designs out there. It has probably brought as many people to sailling as the Sunfish. The 6.9 is a one design racer but still seems to have reasonable accommodations for overnighting. The 6.9 is much more boat for the money if you can get one for a similar price. The ones I have seen sell for more like 2-3X the cost of a Cat 22.
