S2 5.5 Opinions?

Hi everyone,
Has anyone here ever sailed an S2 5.5?
I learned to sail on an S2 9.1 and like the way S2 boats were built.
I like the style of the 5.5 - basically a large dinghy - and am trying to decide whether it's worth a couple hour drive to visit some of the boats for sale.
I know there were not many of them built.

I haven't heard anyone on here even mention one. Looks like a planing racing dink. About the only conclusion you can draw from larger boats is that the glass work is probably pretty good. Beyond that, the value of a racing dink usually comes down to age of sails and rigging. Oh, and whether it has a trailer and an outboard.
