Do any of you 34 or 37 owners ever tried to pull new mast wiring with the mast stepped. I am wanting to do new wiring to the masthead, but certainly don't want to pull the mast to do it.

Do any of you 34 or 37 owners ever tried to pull new mast wiring with the mast stepped. I am wanting to do new wiring to the masthead, but certainly don't want to pull the mast to do it.
Mast Wiring -
You can do it but you won't be able to put the wire in the wire grrove behind the track on the mast. The track slides out. Best way is to take the mast down. Good time to check all the halyards etc. If the mast has been up for a few years it should come down to be thouroughly inspected. You don't want to drop a mast in a blow because a tang is starting to corrode. Sailing season is almost here. Gord Z
