Matt Rutherford is sponsored by C.R.A.B., Chesapeake Regional Access Boating, a charitable organization that provides boating for the handicapped. People donate their boats, and Matt's trip is nominally a fund-raiser for the organization. CRAB provided Matt with a donated Vega for the trip and have resupplied him a couple of times. CRAB is planning a welcome for him, probably in mid-April, but it is all a big guess at this point. They would be delighted to have the participation of Vega organizations, esp international representatives. I will liason with CRAB and provide updates. As a longtime cornet player I may try to get up a volunteer band, for any of you that can still play. This might also be an occasion for the Eastern rondezvous. More later. Dennis Monk
