Our H23 has a Rutgerson traveler. We need to repair/replace the rubber stops/bumper blocks, but cannot find a local dealer. Did Hunter use Rutgerson hardware originally, or is this a retrofit made by a previous owner?
after being told how outdated the old "pop and lock" traveler was. I finally gave in and replaced the old rutgerson with a new one from lewmar for small boats. We mounted it on top of a 1 inch square alum tube. (looks like it was factory installed now! We can now adjust the traveler to spill wind rather then let the main sheet out without letting go of the tiller.. much better control fair winds! Denise
