Traveler Car Windward Sheeting. I had the padeye break on the traveler car that came with my 28.5. The padeye is riveted, so replacement seems to be my only option. I've tried to find a replacement but it appears this model as well as the manufacturer doesn't exist. I'm switching over to a harken windward sheeting system. Anyone have the same experience? Any suggestions before I start replacing this system?

Have your track custom drilled.

Greggory: I replaced mine several years ago. I also went with the Harken. In my opinion it was the best alternative at the time. It cost a little more but was the best quality I could find. Mine has been on the boat for about 8-9 years and still looks and works like the day we installed it. If you contact Harken, they will custom drill your track so you will not need to drill any new holes.
