When I got my Mac 22, both the pivot bolt and lock down bolt were rusted and bent very badly! Simple solution, put a 1 or 2 ton jack under the keel, with slight pressure to ensure that it frees the bolt a little, and then knock the bolt out and replace it. With the keel up, the lock down bolt can easily be replaced too. Just go down to your local True Value and pick up two bolts stainless steel, and of the proper size, and replace, at low cost! good luck Dennis!
