Has anyone who owns a 1983 H31 ever run speaker wires from Port to Starboard just aft of the head from the TV cabinet over to just above the settee just aft of the head. Is there any easy route or chase one can use? Greg W. De Pere, WI.
Went through hanging locker in v berth, under v berth where holding tank compartment is, followed pump out hose to medicine cabinet behind head and through bulhead and your there.
The wire chase is where all the 110V outlets and 12V outlets are installed. They are open at the rear of the boat. I have drilled holes in the chase and run an electricians "fishtape" from the front to the rear numerious times to wire for speakers, 12V for macarator, TV cable, etc. I have run from the elec panel to the stern so many times that I keep a string in there all the time. bill
