rigging sizes
Hello, I just had to make two new halyards for my 22 and used 5/16 yacht braid from Samson. I don't think the manufacturer matters but the size does. I think I chose the smallest diam. that the clutches or stoppers would safely hold. If I did it again I would go one size up or to 3/8. I would use the 3/8 for the main sheet and mabe even go to 7/16 for the jib sheets. I bought all my line from a guy on ebay. His name is Robert Forney, email: roscoef@msn.com The guy was very nice and sent me a list of his inventory. I picked what i wanted and sent him an email along with a paypal payment. Had my order in two days. Very nice to deal with and his prices were less than half of retail. Hope this helps you get her going! Jim
