In the archives I found the following specs for the running rigging on a 23.5 Running Rigging Specs Halyard and Sheet lengths Specs per manual Main halyard - 5/16" 73' Genoa halyard - 5/16" 65' Main sheet - 3/8" 40' Genoa sheets 7/16" 32' My question ..... For the halyards does this lengths account for the lines led aft to the cockpit?

Since the 23 and 23.5 are of similar dimension

then I beleive not, for either. I'd think you'd need at least another 12 feet on each to get to the cockpit, but maybe someone who has a 23.5 can answer for sure.

Jack h23.5

My take on that..

I measured my mast at 33 feet, doubled it and added enough to reach the cockpit. I ended up buying 75 feet of both, but only used the main halyard. I kept the new jib halyard to use for spinnaker sheets, and used an old spinnaker sheet for the shorter jib halyard. Hope that helps

Don't halyards on all 23.5's lead back to cockpit?

It seems to me that all 23.5's are OEM rigged to lead the halyards back to the cockpit & the diagrams in the manual support that view, so I'd assume the specs you reference do indeed include enough length to reach the cockpit.
