I have an oday 25. I have a very nice six color asimm. I have a bail with a block attatched about three feet from the mast head. I also see a bail at the very top of the mast head. I was going to move it to the top so the asim will be forward of the roller furled head sail. The thing I see with that is the spinnaker halyard will then be dangling around off the mast , and get all caught up in the head sail. I have never owned or sailed a spinnaker before and have "you yubed" looking for answers. Any help or suggestions would be great and thanks in advance. There is also blocks down on the deck at the base of the forstay, and fairleads on the cabin top etc. I am thinking some of this would be for the tack line?

Yes, the bail at the top of the mast is for a spinnaker halyard block. The block should be a 360 degree swivel type. Attach the end of the halyard shackle around the bow pulput to keep it out of the way of your roller furling unit. Attach the other end of the halyard down the port side of the mast through a foot block at the base of the mast and then aft to the cockpit. Use either a Jam, Cam or Clam cleat on the Cabin top.

Need help in determining model and year of an older daysailer. I believe it is a DSII. Difficult to read HIN (metal tag center of transom) looks like "class # 5692". Appreciate any help in identifying - need to order sails and some rigging components. Also info on source for rigging. looks like a great boat to restore.
