I cannot find the deck plan drawings in any of the PDF downloads for my H34. I purchased this boat last fall and it was not set up correctly. Does anyone have the guide as to how the lines and rigging are supposed to be? Thanks!

Are you looking for which lines go though which clutch? If so my main halyard and traveler go thought the starboard clutches and my jib halyard and main sheet go though the port side.

Thanks for the quick response Don. I have those lined out. It is the Boom Vang , down haul. Reefing system and I think back haul that is unclear.

I think my main halyard and jib halyard are through the starboard blocks. My main sheet and boom vang are through the Port blocks. My topping lift is just tied off at the boom.

Lots of changes have been made by previous owners.. My reef lines run from the boom to a turning block at mast base then through the organizer block then to a horned cleat back by the winch. There is one reef on each side. My outhaul (mainsail foot tension) runs to a cleat under the boom at the forward end after exiting the boom at the mast end sheave. My vang runs to the organizer then back to a cam cleat back by the winch. My deck organizers have 4 sheaves on each side.
Port side organizer has port jib halyard, spinnaker halyard, #1 mainsail reef, boom vang.. Starboard organizer has spinnaker pole topping lift, starboard jib halyard, and #2 mainsail reef, and mainsail halyard.

To sum up the above there are a lot of different set-ups for the running rigging. My 85 has a concise diagram in the manual for the reefing lines. That said I am still working getting it right. I have double clutches on each side, no spinnaker halyard or down haul. Main sheet and halyard are on the starboard, jib halyard and vang are on the port. Traveler has its own cam cleats. Setting up the reefing lines so they work properly, with the internal cams/locks has been a challenge along with the lazy jacks. Outhaul has a cleat on the mast but it is very difficult to put much pressure on the foot of the main. I don't think it has any mechanical advantage built into the boom, if there is it isn't more than 2-1.

A previous owner rigged both halyards on the starboard side, through the clutches to the winch. The port side has the main sheet and boom vang through the clutches.

The out haul on the boom is rigged the same as Kloudie's. I use only the first reef, which is rigged through the boom to the jam cleat at the boom gooseneck. The forward end goes on a horn hook. To use the second reef point would require the lowest slides to be taken out of the track to allow the mainsail to come down low enough for the second reef cringle to engage the horn hook.

I have considered rigging a cunningham but have not gotten around to doing so.
