Has anyone ran new lines in your mast for your lites and antenna? Is it easlier with the mast up running down the lines or with the mast down and level? Thanks Bob
I just added a wind machine and radar with the mast down and it was so easy running the wires. If you have some one to go up the the mast and pull new wires thru the mast attached to your old wires. But before you start this project you should make sure everything will work out and that the old wires are loose and can be pulled thru the mast. I had no problem running the two cables on one side of the mast channel but when I attempted to run a wire in the other side for spreader light it would not go wiyh other mast light wires so check everything out before you start. nick
Bob: I went thru this in 2003. Cleaned up the Step at the same time. Forget about doing it with the stick up. You have a rather small wiring channel and lots of little access holes in very inconvenient places, especially swinging 50 feet up in a bosun's chair. Check the link RS
