I am looking to run new lines through my mast. New Topping Lift, Halyard,Jib and Spare Spinnaker Lines.
I'm looking for a "Rope to Rope" Grip, it's a thin wire mesh that holds the rope ends together, somewhat like Chinese Finger Grips.
Has anyone used one or know where to find this tool?
Thank for any help.

When I have run lines, I have simply sewn the 2 ends together, using a strong needle, whipping twine, and pliers (to help push/pull the needle through). Usually I make about 3-4 loops from one line's end to the other line's end. It is dependable and it works.

I tried tape over paperclips shaped like fish hooks and lost my spinnaker halyard. I would not trust anything other than sewing. I have had no problems with mending thread and needles purchased at our 5 and 10.

Small wire works also and don't have to set up for sewing. Run through butt ends of lines several times and twist wire ends. Chief

Sewing the thing. It doesn't take that long and an easy and safe way to do it. I replaced all my running rigging this way.
