Running lines aft on a Capri 18

Any suggestion on running lines aft on an '86 capri 18? I'd like to replace the clam cleats on the jib sheets with cam cleats and also run the halyards back to the cockpit. Maybe being able to use the two winches for the halyards? Thanks

I would put a winch on the mast

you still have to go forward to reef the main and its a pain to hop back and forth uncleating and cleating the halyard.(dont think you will always have crew for that). a downhaul with a 4:1 purchase is fine for main luff tension. and a winch for the jib halyard is all you'd need. i have had many boats and my current 22 is lead aft but i dont lead the main halyard back for the reason above. good luck
