My bow running lights have finally failed. No power. Does anyone know where the power wires run from the main panel? Thhe ower comes out of the port ss safety rail, but so far I can't locate them below deck.

Probably The Splice

I had the same thing happen. The wiring contains a splice where it exits the bow rail. I'm sure you'll find that splice is bad once you get the tape off and inspect it. Cut it back, put in a good splice, double seal it and you're good to go. Good luck, Rick D.

Splice

Thanks. I have cut back to the ss rail and no luck yet. Appreciate your input. I have only about 4" of wire left and don't want to cut much more.

I'm Going To Guess....

that they go under the anchor windlass box in the V-Berth to one side or another and then to the switch panel. Was asking myself the same question when I thought I'd have to re-route a new run, and that's the conclusion I came to, but I was lucky enough not to have to test it. Good luck, maybe someone on the board has experience with it. There is a wiring diagram in the manual; not sure it will be a help tho. Rick D.

Splice

I just talked to Don at Hunter. He stated they ran the wire above the head board in the V-berth. I will have to access that area and see what's there. Thanks again.

Different boat but. . . . .

my H37C had the problem. It was both the outsie splice by the pulpit AND I had knocked a plug loose inside. Hunter had used a plug up next to the anchor locker. Probably because they install the pulpit already wired and then plug into the harness after the inner liner is installed. When I was installing my hawse pipe I must have unplugged it somehow.
