I use Fire Fox. Have had no problems for a long time. I did in the past but that was probably my wireless connection.
Fire Fox isn't a memory hog like Google Chrome.

Got caught by this bogus you need to update your flash player B.S. also. I had to not only do a system restore several times but had to go into the root programing and wipe all the files clean to totally get this crap out of my computer. Had to uninstall all of the adobe reader program and docudesk PDF creater,Chrome,Mozilla, Firefox , explorer etc.....And then go back and do a complete reinstall...Basically had to shut down getting any work done for several days. The evidence so far I feel is on people with infected computers not using the proper uploading protocols or using the right security settings when posting their U-tube videos or some of the other video program uploads!. . :cussing::cussing::cussing: I vowed to no longer to fall victim to this bogus you need to up your flash player crap. Hey it is already current no need to screw with it any more! And farther more whats with this need to post 3D Pictures!

If you think there's any connection to links posted on this site please let me know where they are. I suspect the pop-up is generated from a virus already in your computer but I'd rather check any links to make sure. Thanks!

I have mentioned it a few times about not being able to open certain links or certain uploaded video type files in the past .... I will try and be more vigilant in bringing them to your attention from now on.
But I am suspecting this problem is more wide spread industry wise then just here. Many times this same issue occurs on other web sites and news web pages. My windows 8 computer has been professionally and totally checked out. All programs are fully current and functioning properly. It even happens on my other slower computers both the xp and the vista. Don't need no flash player updates!

I recently had this happen with one of these online navigating software sites that we've been talking about here for awhile. Hate to say who, no need to tear into them, but be careful. I keep brand new laptops, usually crushing the older ones after a year or so, and this silly "program" dumped all KINDS of crazy games, home pages, etc. I was BIG TIME hot over this, new high-dollar computer all gummed up. Anyway, never had it happen here.

vGrabber is an older threat. Check out Sophos. They have a tool that removes this virus. I depend on Sophos on my desktops, laptops and android devices

How does it manifest? I began a download just the other day but canceled before it finished. Wife did not. How does it show itself?
