I replaced the stock rudder on our previous H26, with the then IdaSailor, it worked better, easy up easy down, no sweat needed, no up creep while sailing or motoring, easy to remove for winter.
Thanks for the info. A guy that use to work for Ida Sailer now runs Rudder Craft. Met him at Lake Havasu Sailing Conference. Looks like good product and works like Ida; maybe beefed up a bit. I will let you learn what I learn.
I bought an IdaSailor rudder for my H 26. Good quality and easy up and down but I find the boat is more easily overpowered now. Get the largest version rudder they offer. I bought the standard model and I think they have a "blue water" model for a few $'s more.
