Hi Steve, There's only one rudder stopper on my 1983 37C - its mounted on the Edson steering quadrant and fetches up against a big piece of angle iron. Maybe the Merriman steering is different...or are you talking about the two flaps that are mounted on either side of the rudder just below thw water line? They are identical, so you could make a pair using your remaining on as a template. They are just made from 1/8" poly plastic. Sorry I can't be of more help. Jim SV CALYPSO Halifax, NS

Wooden blocks
Hi Steve, My rudder stops have been replaced with wooden blocks (2x4s). I noticed last evening that one is in the bottom of the boat and I will need to reattach it. PO installed with deck screws; I may try carriage bolts. Regards, Jim B. S/V Leben ist gut 1980 37C # 143
