Rudder Play

My Beneteau is up on the cradle and I noticed some play in the rudder. There is a slightup and down movement of 1/4". Is that an issue? Can this play be adjusted or should it justbe left alone?Thanks

Paul, I would get inside and take a good look at the rudder post where it enters the hull. Check around to make sure nothing is cracked or the quadrants etc. are loose. I don't think a 1/4" is something to worry about but it won't hurt to look things overIf you have any more questions give me a shoutGood luckCharlie
